Overview

AccessPoint – Healthcare IT Division has an exciting opportunity for a proven Business Development Leader to join our team. We are looking for a proven sales leader with existing relationships within healthcare organizations that can have immediate impact in selling/expanding our services to assist us in growing our division. We have an open entrepreneurial work culture and we are looking for a leader that can assist us in broadening our service offerings. We offer a competitive compensation package and bonus structure and the flexibility to be based remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the leadership team to identify potential clients and offer insight on industry direction and needs.
  • Use existing relationships to broaden our client base in providing long term staffing solutions or project based implementation support through a consultative selling approach focused on developing business partnerships.
  • Develop a strong and consistent pipeline of potential clients and projects, in alignment with quarterly and annual sales objectives, through a combination of:  professional networking, referrals, conferences, industry and client special events, in-bound leads, and regular warm and cold calling strategies.
  • With assistance of senior team members, develop, present or propose on solutions as appropriate. Close business, facilitate contracts and statements of work to achieve sales targets.
  • Work with delivery to team to ensure seamless transition and maintain client relationships.
  • Maintain activity metrics and client data within CRM and provide on-time accurate forecasts to management as required.

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal staff.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with C-level through manager-level clients, consultants, and internal staff with excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, presenting, and writing).
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be a self-starter and work well with moderate supervision.
  • Non-compete agreement from current employer must not hinder ability to make immediate impact.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or requisite knowledge and experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven success in professional services sales environments within the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle tied to business applications, optimally in healthcare.
  • Subject matter expertise through consulting in a clinical or non-clinical capacity is a plus
  • Experience with Population Health Services, EHR Implementations, Revenue Cycle, HEDIS, Case Management or Clinical Services a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop materials as needed for presentations.
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Must be able to travel to client sites or AccessPoint home office as required.
